Lauren graduated from Daoist Traditions in Asheville, NC, a 4 year Master’s Program in acupuncture and herbal medicine. Dr. Tinsley is a general practitioner specializing in Five Element Acupuncture. In her practice, Dr. Tinsley is passionate about treating mental health (anxiety, depression, ADHD and stress); women’s health (cycle support, fertility, pregnancy, menopause); complex cases, and,autoimmune conditions.

She is a Maryland University of Integrative Health graduate (4 year program), receiving her Masters in Acupuncture in 2023 and completing her doctorate in 2024. She graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill with a double major in psychology & exercise science.

Throughout Dr. Tinsley’s training, she has learned Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Five Element Acupuncture, and NADA protocol. In addition to acupuncture, Dr. Tinsley offers nutritional and lifestyle counseling, moxibustion, gua sha, cupping and meditation.
